European liaison Committee for social housing:
Social housing contribution to Sustainable urban development

" to give everyone a real chance of social inclusion housing must be properly integrated into the city, which implies two consequences for social housing:
- it must not be the only place where people having difficulty in integrating or suffering disadvantages go and it must offer a certain social diversity,
- it must not be confined to special social-housing estates but must be spread throughout the city."

" But government must provide long-term financing for the regeneration of our cities."
