Swiss artist David Weiss of the seminal duo Fischli/Weiss has sadly passed away. The classic Fischli/Weiss Der Lauf Der Dinge (The Way Things Go)(1987) was the first work that the newly-founded SFMOMA Media Arts department acquired in 1988.
