" The four realms of inner life: perception, thinking, feeling, willing. The first two are more directly related to the outer world; the last two are more inward and subjective. How the inner life can be studied clarivoyantly, from outside the physical body, when the seer becomes conscious in his Ego and astral body. Ordinary experience is reversed :  instead of looking out from a central point at an external world, he feels that he has become that world; he is poured out over it, as though looking from every point in space towards a central point- himself. How he now sees the physical body, shining and sounding. The life of thought as dark waves (etheric currents) in the body of light. When awareness of what corresponds to feeling is awakened, the space becomes as though filled with stars in constant movement; this is experience of the astral body. The physical body now looks different; the radiance and the waves of thought-life cease ; one's own being is perceived as personified karma, penetrating into the very construction of the muscles. It becomes evident that in life a person is led by his muscles to wherever karma requires him to go. If attention is next concentrated on what corresponds, out of the body, to the activity of will, the investigator experiences his "I" as united with the sun. If then he looks back on his physical body, he observes that spiritual powers direct its coming into being and its passing away; the bony system is their signature. He learns that in every moment of his bony system, cosmic forces are at work. The fundamental feeling engendered by these experiences as a whole: Ex Deo Nascimur...
